The finnish progressive group Uzva´s first ” Tammela In January” –album is available again and distributed by Presence Records/Nordic Notes.
Made in 2000 the Tammela was a landmark in finnish new prog-scene and has since been kind of ”hard-to-find” item, the first print sold out almost immediately.
Recorded by Måns Groundstroem and produced by the band itself the debut introduced a six-member group with guests and a combination of compositions by Heikki Puska as well as very organic production and ”live”-feeling on playing made Tammela a very unique recording.
It´s timeless beauty and vibes of finnish landscape and nature sound as fresh and original as if it was recorded yesterday.
