Five years ago Plutonium 74 released a promising debut album, Pasilasta Kalliioon. On the 28th of May, 2008, they'll release their second album, Polttoalueen ulkopuolella, on Stupido Records.

"Peittoalueen ulkopuolella" provides a healthy dose of that honest-to-goodness naively dramatic touch and mishmash of styles the gang in question is known for. It took three years of polishing, pruning, shining and grinding at a glacial pace to make this, the group's second record. Its characteristic odor is comprised of at least the following components: ecstatic discofunk, brain-tearing prog and lots of floaty bits that give off a feeling fairy-tale-like longing.
