It´s been ten years now since the last live album from Marja Mattlar was released.
Titled ”Belgiassa” that album consisted material of her ”Pariisi –Vuorenkylä” and ”Lumi” –albums recorded live from Belgium tour.
Now we´re in Vuorenkylä, Finland, in artists home and feeling´s very intimate. As Marja herself puts it: ”Last ten years my partner musician has been Eveliina Kontio and there has been a lot of talk to record our performances and even some listeners have hoped for it. The 14th of july 2007 we finally arranged two concerts in my home  at Vuorenkylä, Harju. They both were recorded and now the other is to be released as a live-album”.

The recordings were made by the two guys, Ilmari Issakainen and Tykö Saarikko of Tenhi –group. They were already responsible for producing, arranging and recording of Marja´s last very well received ”Polku” –album. Ilmari also mastered this new one and Tyko´s the one to thank this breathtaking beautiful cover-art. The songs on this album are mostly from the albums ”Vesi” and ”Tuli”.
The songs lead listener to the situation they were performed, to the intimate presence of the music. The sound is pure, only the essential is left. It gives you the change to let go, listen and rest in a moment of an old countryhouse .
