The many times Danish Music Award winner Karen Mose is probably best known as the singer in the band Phønix.

But beside her work with the busy band Phønix she always has been doing other project also. Now is this her debut as a soloist and with a selection of songs which include both some of her new written songs and old traditional songs in new interpretations.

Karen grew up in the village Tommerup on the island of Funen and was from a very early age taught to sing folk songs by her mother and the people around the traditional band Lang Linken.
She has studied and graduated from the Carl Nielsen academy of music in Odense (DK). Today she is highly respected and many times awarded for her interpretation of the traditional songs and poems of Denmark.
